Summer Workshop July 2007

Unfortunately the weather during Hash's visit could only be described as miserable and so we were denied the privilege of painting en plein. However those who attended were treated to some excellent tuition from an artist, who not only knew his stuff, but was prepared to share his knowledge freely with the students. In addition he taught with a charming demeanour, even when he was being critical. Hopefully he will make a return visit in better weather.

Hash's partner Marie who was a lovely model when the weather prevented us from venturing outside Thie Ellyn.

Prior to the workshop commencing, Phil, our Hon. Treasurer was the volunteer model when Hash demonstrated his skill before 45 members, who were able to watch and listen through a video link and amplified sound.

There was also, as usual, an excellent supper provided by some of the members.
